Meet our Leading Lady

Lady LaTosha L. (Hay) Wilson was born in Newark New Jersey, and she is the eldest of two children and spent her childhood growing up in Newark and Irvington. She received her elementary and secondary education from parochial schools located in Newark. She is a proud graduate of St. Vincent’s Academy in Newark, New Jersey Institute of Technology, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Science and Technology and has two master’s degrees from the University of Phoenix in Management and Adult Learning.

She currently serves as an Associate Director of Strategic Events and Conference Services at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark.  Other roles she currently serves in are, President of the United Minister Wives & Widows of Newark and Vicinity and First Vice President for the NJ Association of Minister Wives and Widows.  Her most loving role in life is the devoted wife of Pastor Niles Wilson and dedicated “cheerleader” to her ADULT daughters Alyssa Chanel and Kayla Janae.

First Lady Wilson accepted Christ at an early age and is a proud daughter of the New Salem Baptist Church in Newark under the pastorate of the late Rev. John L. Toler. As a member of New Salem Baptist Church, Lady Wilson was very active in the choir, the Usher Board, and the Sunday school. She is an energetic "get it done" woman of God. She has dedicated herself to the ministry of the church, and she is a strong believer in her husband’s vision for the church.  She constantly thanks God for her upbringing in a Christian home, early beginnings in the church, but most of all for the Godly mentors that are a continuous part of her life.  Lady Wilson is truly a wonderful woman of God, and a treasure to the members of Greater Cornerstone.  She believes and lives by the word of God and is proud to be a daughter of the king, there is no shame when it comes to claiming Jesus Christ as Lord of her life! She wholeheartedly rests on the promises of God.
