United Clergy of the Oranges Annual King Service

Posted by: Pastor Niles R. Wilson on Sat, Jan 6, 2018

The United Clergy of the Oranges Annual Service to Honor Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The United Clergy of the Oranges will host their annual "KING" service to honor the national holiday of the birth of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This year's service promises to be extraodinary as the United Clergy of the Oranges acknowledges members of the Community for their service and commitment to the Oranges and vicinity.  In addition, this year the United Clergy members are happy to issue 8 Scholarships to College Freshmen who are entering their second semester of school.  The scholarship has been named after the late Rev. Dr. Irving Childress who served faithfully as the treasurer of the United Clergy of the Oranges until his passing this year.

This year's service will also include the passing of the guard; as the new officers for the UCOO will be installed during the service.

The service will be held at the Faith Temple OFW Baptist Church, located on the corner of Halstead and MLK (Main St.) in East Orange NJ at 6pm.

This is a community event, and everyone is invited to attend.
