Making Room for the Promises of God
My reality is my expectation of God's promise and we need to make room for those promises. We do this by understanding that:
- Obedience to God does not mean no stress or trouble
- We can't worry about what people think
- God can get us ready for anything
When we make room for God's promises:
- Destiny dictates our destination
- God moves you into your destiny
- God moved Mary to Bethlehem
- God used strange circumstances (the Roman census) to get mary and Joseph to Bethlehem
- Deliverance/Blessing will be delayed until I'm in the place God wants me
- God moves you into your destiny
- God deploys divine details
- Mary and Joseph had no formal plans to move
- God used the enemy to position His people
- There is no other record of this type of tax in history
- There may be detours put in place for His plan
- Lean into detours, they may be divine
- Lean into detours, they may be divine
- Let God handle the details
- God know how to throw danger out of your way or provides protection for you
- No room at the inn, but God worked out the details
- Trust God
- Mary had only Joseph and God
- God formed a place for them
- God can use anything-even that which is considered lowly
- Trust God
- No room at the inn, but God worked out the details
- God know how to throw danger out of your way or provides protection for you
- The deliverance of the promise is always confirmed
- Mary gives birth to her firstborn son
- Mary gave birth when everything is in place
- With Joseph
- In Bethlehem
- Safe in the stable and not on the road
- The host of angels appeared to the shepherds
- Angels told how Jesus would be recognized
