Thank you in advance for your generous offerings and gifts. Worshipping God through giving is a sign of obedience to His word, and it’s also a sign of your appreciation of His Blessings in your life.

Giving is an act of Faith in God, and when you give you are putting your faith in Action. Giving is proof that you believe God’s promise that he will meet your needs and give you bountiful blessings in return for your faithfulness.

Because of faithful givers like you, Greater Cornerstone has the financial support necessary to meet the spiritual and physical needs of our membership and our community.

Through your continued donations, the church is able to do the following:

2 Cor. 8:11-12

11 Now you should finish what you started. Let the eagerness you showed in the beginning be matched now by your giving. Give in proportion to what you have. 12 Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have.

Special thanks to everyone who has committed to our Ark of Safety Campaign, and have started to honor your pledge. The success of Greater Cornerstone has historically been entrusted to  faithful individuals who dared to trust God for the unknown, and remained committed to the call to service and financial support of their church.

We have always envisioned owning the entire block of North 18thStreet. The property at 231 N. 18thStreet was our first step towards that vision. You’ve helped the church meet two critical fundraising goals; a pay down on the overall debt, and support for the operational expenses for the use of the property.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 per year, and to pay off the mortgage by 2025. This is our largest financial challenge, and it requires the participation of every G.C.B.C. family member.

As you prayerfully consider participating in this effort, we remind you of the teachings found in 2 Cor. 8:11-12. To assist you in sewing into the ministry, we have included a pattern of giving chart for your review when you are considering your commitment. This chart is designed to assist you in determining and budgeting your personal giving on a monthly basis.

During our Morning Offering, we have a giving period that we affectionately call "SEED & HARVEST" Time.  It was placed on our Pastor's Heart in 2004 to encourage the membership to practice giving as a part of their Christian experience.  Each week members and guests are encouraged to Sew a Financial Seed "Money" or a gift of some kind into the life of someone who has touched their life.  It is a way of being the blessing you are seeking from God.  Members are encouraged to seek out those who have been walking faithfully, and consistently regardless of their life's challenges.  Or to seek out those whose journey is similar to your own, and you wish to be a part of God's plan to bless their lives.

The seed and harvest offering is not about pity or feeling sorry for an individual.  The seed and harvest offering is about faith that God will use the financial seed you are sewing to bring forth a harvest of blessings in the life of those who you bless.  Its an action of love and faith.

Join us, and sew a seed into someone's life that has touched the lives of others.
