Lady LaTosha L. (Hay) Wilson was born in Newark New Jersey, and she is the eldest of two children and spent her childhood growing up in Newark and Irvington.
She received her elementary and secondary education from parochial schools located in Newark. In 1990 she graduated from the St. vincent Academy High School in Newark. Immediately following High School, Lady Wilson attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Science and Technology and has completed a Master of Science degree in Management via online studies at the University of Phoenix in September of 2009. She is currently completing her certification to be an online facilitator for adult learners.
Lady Wilson currently serves as the Associate Director of the Campus Center at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and has aspirations to one day become a dean at the University. The other roles she currently serves are, Past President of the United Minister Wives & Widows of Newark and Vicinity, Corresponding Secretary for the NJ Association of Minister Wives and Widows, but her most loving role in life is being the dedicated wife of Pastor Niles Wilson, and the committed and "on the go" mommy of her loving daughters Alyssa and Kayla.
First Lady Wilson accepted Christ at an early age and is a proud daughter of the New Salem Baptist Church in Newark under the pastorate of the late Rev. John L. Toler. As a member of New Salem Baptist Church, Lady Wilson was very active in the choir, the Usher board, and the Sunday School. She is an energetic "get it done" woman of God. She has dedicated herself to the ministry of the church, and she is a strong believer in her husband's visionfor the church.
She constantly thanks God for her upbringing in a Christian home, early beginnings in the church, but most of all for the Godly mentors that are a continuous part of her life. Lady Wilson is truly a wonderful woan of God, and a treasure to the members of Greater Cornerstone.
She is often asked the question "How do you manage the responsiblity of a working mother of two active daughters, wife of a bi-vocational Pastor, friend, and leading lady of a congregation"? Her response is taken from the word of God.
Isaiah 26:3 "The Lord will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you".
